From Our Founder
I’m Kate, founder of Rad. I’ve always been happiest outside. Surfing, running, tennis, moving and spending time in nature, while also juggling the everyday chaos of being a busy mum and running a business.
Living in Thailand and working with a spa and body-care company showed me the difference high-quality, plant-based ingredients can make. It shaped my belief that the products we use every day should perform brilliantly, feel good to use and fit the way we want to live.
That belief became Rad.
Rad Spa and Rad Wax were born from the same ingredients and expertise from Lemongrass House.
The oils, butters and natural materials that care for your skin and hair also inspired a better way to make surf wax, including repurposing natural resin from essential-oil production to create grip.

Our Clean Ingredients
A blend of sustainably sourced fruit waxes make up our formulas, free of paraffin and toxic scents. Ingredients are ethically sourced from farms in Southeast Asia.
We blend coconut and sesame so that our wax applies to your board smoothly. No fillers like limestone are used to ensure longer lasting wax.
The tree resins we use are byproducts that are usually disregarded by the cosmetic industry. Being too sticky for their products, we repurpose them to enhance your board's grip.
